Statement
Teachers' existence is based on their philosophy: who they are, what is the purpose of their profession in school, how they are going to make a change in their students’ lives, and in their community. Teachers’ philosophy has concepts, such as truth, existence, reality, and freedom to enjoy their profession.
I am still a student acquiring information to put it in practice in the workplace, the school. However, when I graduate from McGill University, in approximately three years and I foresee myself teaching in a multicultural class where I will be able to practice the theory I am actually receiving. I will applly concepts, theories, and methods according to my students' background and social environment to make them feel confortable and eager to learn. I want to serve my community honouring their backgrounds and sharing with them this mosaic city of Montreal.
The process to become a teacher is long and full of studies; respect, love, honesty, truth, modesty, dignity, and tolerance should be part of my character in my professional life, as well as protect, accept, and nourrish my students to help them in the development of their wellbeing.
